CHRISTMAS PROTEIN RUM BALLS
Who doesn't like a nice treat for Christmas, but why not keep it healthy and not high in calories or refined sugar. These Rum balls are delicious to enjoy with your refeed meal as a treat, or for anyone not in prep, a nice treat on Christmas day.
- 250g Pitted dates
- 50gm LSA Mix
- 4 x 30gm scoops of chocolate Protein
- 50gm desiccated coconut
- 2 Tbsp cacao powder
- 2-3 drops of rum extract to taste
- 1 Tbsp tahini
Place dates in a saucepan, cover with hot water and boil until soft and water has evaporated. Set aside and and leave to cool.
Add the LSA, protein powder, 3/4 of the coconut, cacao, rum extract and tahini to cooled date mix and blend in a food processor until all ingredients are combined.
Roll into around 20 balls and roll in left over coconut or cacao nibs
Store in Refrigerator.
